Toms
Field Camping
Our
site is located in the New Forest near the small town of Fordingbridge.
We enjoy direct access to the forest and both ponies and cattle
wonder freely adjacent to Toms Field. We are also close to a local shop
(approx 1 mile) and within a 15 minute walk of a pub which serves food
all day including Breakfast.
There is
a toilet and shower block on site. Two showers in both the Ladies and
Gents at no extra cost. We also have two washing up sinks with hot
water on the outside of the block.
We are a quiet family orientated site and do not allow large loud groups to stay.
In order for our guest to enjoy the beautiful peaceful surroundings we
have a no noise after 11.30pm policy, and no music at anytime.
Most pitches on the main field in 2010 are now 12m therefore providing more
space for everyone. We have decreased the density to allow for the extra space
and so have had to make a small increase in the pitch price.
We have just over 50 pitches in all, they are mainly on the big area of
the field which is for family and small adult group camping. We do have
a few pitches in a copse area which we offer to couples for a quieter
retreat. The campsite commands a great location with forest adjoining
it and exceptional views of the countryside. We have had very nice
reviews on the UK campers web site and will try to maintain this in
2010. Dogs are welcome on our site, but we do expect them to be
well behaved and the owners to clean up after them.
We
welcome visitors with tents and camper vans, no caravans and are unable
to offer electric hook up. The cost per night is as follows:
£8 per pitch (1 tent, 1 car)
£5 per Adult £2.50 per Child
(3-14yrs)
(£1 bank holiday surcharge per adult)
£2 per extra car, tent
or gazebo.
